Canadian screen actress who is best known as Bo Dennis from Lost Girl. In 2019 she began starring in CBSs Blood & Treasure. Her other credits include 2006s Earthstorm and 2005s The Perfect Neighbor. Silk was born Fredericton New Brunswick Canada, the daughter of Peter Silk who is an academic. Silk's wife Ilkay is an actress as well as a director, producer, and playwright. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna's first experiences were being a watcher of her mother's work, in the kitchen and going to play rehearsals. Silk made many commercials while she was a small teenager. She completed her studies at St. Thomas University with an Associate of Arts degree in 1997. CNN recognized Bo's performance alongside Lauren as Lauren in Lost Girl as a same-sex couple as one of their top television couples of all time. E! named them the top TV Couple for 2013.
